  • Battle Axe

    A battle axe is an axe specifically designed for combat. The weapon features a basic dual blade with an axe blade on one side and a spike protruding from the opposite side.

  • Hand Axe

    A simple axe commonly used as a tool, it serves just fine as a weapon. They have a single axe blade face secured to a wooden handle. It sees frequent use as a thrown weapon in battles, but can serve just as well as a primary weapon.

    A tool with a heavy head and a handle, used for tasks such as ramming, crushing, and driving wedges. It has seen a common application in battle by many warriors over the years.

    A crossbow is a type of weapon, based on the bow, consisting of a horizontal bow-like assembly mounted on a stock, that shoots projectiles called bolts.

  • Short Bow

    The short bow is primarily used for hunting small game, but it also sees application in combat. The small size makes it a favorite among adventurers.

  • Long Bow

    Sometimes used for hunting, long bows have seen a long history in battle across Thedas. The ever famous volley of arrows is conducted by archers armed with long bows.

  • Main Gauche

  • Rapier

    A rapier is a slender, sharply pointed sword, best suited for thrusting attacks. The blade might be sharpened along its entire length or sharpened only from the centre to the tip.

  • Heavy Lance

    A combat variation of the lance, the heavy lance requires a powerful individual to manage properly. Many knights pride themselves in the use of these heavy weapons.

  • Jousting Lance

    While not the best option for combat applications, the jousting lance is still quite popular among knights. It is used in competitions of showmanship, most notably at the Grand Tourney.

  • Light Lance

    One of the most common cavalry weapons in all of Thedas, the light lance is far easier to wield in combat than the more impressive heavy lance.

  • Dagger

    A dagger is a knife fighting weapon with a very sharp point designed or capable of being used as a thrusting or stabbing weapon. The distinctive shape and historic usage of the dagger have made it iconic and symbolic.

  • Short Sword

    A favorite backup weapon for archers, and one of the more frequent swords to be possessed by the common populace. It is the smallest blade still considered to be a sword.

  • Glaive

    A glaive is a polearm weapon consisting of a single-edged blade on the end of a pole. Occasionally glaive blades were created with a small hook on the reverse side to better catch riders.

  • Halberd

    The halberd consists of an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft. It can also have a hook or thorn on the back side of the axe blade for grappling mounted combatants.
